NOTES: (General Climate: Arid. Gen. Hab: coffee plantation. Cov. Density: med.) Bird 4' high off ground in shrubs other than coffee but would go very high in trees and then return. Jeff Kingery [These vocalizations are probably comparable to the soft "shreeeet" sounds described for Amazilia yucatanensis (see BNA), but I am not familiar with a vocalization of this type in Amazilia so I cannot be certain of the identification.
