A breeding plumage adult was found in the company of Bonaparte's and Ring-billed Gulls. The black head with broken eye-ring, red "blush" on the breast, red bill and feet with a white band at the base of the black tipped primaries seen in flight distinguished this gull from a Laughing Gull. And, the gull was smaller than the Ring-billed Gulls in the immediate area. Photo to be included.
