Podrobnosti k pozorování
I was happily photographing the Teal family at the base of the former Cormorant Tree when something started to just feel... off. Not only did the Teals start to scrabble away, necks craned out, but I distinctly felt that I was being watched; such instinctual feelings are definitely not fiction... I looked up, for that's where I felt that steely gaze came from... and... there, enormous, dwarfing the branch on which it was upright, was a Sea Eagle, its huge, obsidian eyes looking almost liquid in the harsh light!! It took a lot of complaining from the local Plovers and Magpies to eventually drive it off; even when I tried flanking it for some different angles, it really didn't look overly concerned. What a remarkable thing to see at such close range!!
