Poznámky

Tawny Frogmouth male on nest, wriggling on to chicks; mouth agape. The Tawny Frogmouth trio we have been following late last year has laid a second clutch. The male sits on the nest during the day, covering the two new chicks with his feathers. The weather has been hot, and the chicks now wriggle out from under him, presumably to be cooler. Elevation: 7 m. Date added to IBC: January 13, 2018.
