Poznámky
NOTES: Though usually quite inconspicuous, this bird occasionally sang from exposed perches and was seen very well and described on micro-cassette; initially natural song with the bird 15-18 meters away, later after playback when it was 10 meters away, and when seen it was 1 meter up on relatively exposed perches; the last part of this recording highlighted this same bird after it began singing again (with no additional playback), now 6-7 meters away and 1-1 1/2 meter up, generally within the vegetation but briefly popping up on an exposed perch; it was in 1-2 meter tall, dense bushes amid relatively open, grassy campina; in response to playback the bird gave a similar song at a much faster rate and it came all around me, but it was now moving more constantly and thus more challenging to keep Òon axisÓ; fully overcast but with clouds beginning to break up, calm, 79¡ F; a multi-part cut with an internal announcement. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Normal song. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Evergreen Forest, Savannah, Second-growth, Scrub, Sand.
