Tennessee Warbler || Chestnut Hill Reservoir -- Brighton MA
Observation details
Singing adult male along the rock ledge of the rink woods. Heard immediately on arrival and was located rather easily as it flew to another branch. Went silent for a a solid twenty minutes or so ... but was relocated later in a large oak. Flew back over to the rock ledge and began singing again. Eventually flew down and landed in some of the low buckthorn trees, which I found very unusual. Was chased briefly from this low perch, but returned and afforded excellent, eye-level looks.
