Observation details
The phylloscopus warbler was observed for over 40 minutes often throjugh a scope with several photos taken. For a period it was with an Arctic Warbler for comparison. Similar size, maybe slightly smaller. Dull olive brown upperparts overall with slightly warmer primary edges, tail, and cap. Pale grey supercilium barely extending behind eye. Narrow blacl eyeline from bill to slightly behind the eye with slight upturn at rear. Bill, eye, and legs black. Underparts off-white and vent whiter. Primaries short. I have seen SIberian Chiffchaff in Bhutan and numerous Common Chiffchaff in Europe. The weather was overcast.
