Observation details
I found this bird at Lighthouse Point, at the start of the trail where it joins the beach at approximately 230pm. It behaved similar to a WEVI, preferring dense tangles, making photos quite difficult. I Followed it for a few mins before losing it in some very dense underbrush. It foraged methodically between approximately eye level and to the ground. I re-found the bird approximately 30mins later further north along the beach towards the lighthouse and got better photos. I was able to get a handful of other people on the bird. It did not vocalize at all while I was with it. Eventually as more people arrived it disappeared and was not re-found. Colour patterns, wing bars and facial pattern only match BEVI. See photos.
