Observation details
Three fledglings in the same tree as the nest, no adults seen. The land owner contacted John Weinrich about the owl nest that they had found on their property. John got permission to make a brief visit to see and photograph the nest site and fledglings. The nest is in a white pine. There were avian and mammalian carcasses below the nest, as well as numerous pellets.
