Observation details

Male snowy. Seen at a distance, but good looks. REALLY BAD photos included. I know none of these are diagnostic, or even focused. I basically aimed where the bird was and took a lot of photos. The bird isn't even in most of the photos, but pops up from the grass on occasion. Tough conditions. Small plover, sandy colored back, thicker stripe down side of neck than on a PIPL, black line across top of the forehead, black smear going down behind the eye (not a feature on PIPL), thin black bill (unlike PIPL's thick, shorter orange bill with black tip). Photos awful, but we saw all the ID features clearly.
