Unfortunately the bird was skittish as I tried for a pic. It moved down the road. That's why I think the one I heard later was this.
Observation details
Plain gray face, a big thrush. It was next to a Veery and the size difference was quite evident. Upper parts were a cold gray - brown. 100 ft. Down the road I had the same bird I presume. It was calling. That nasal jeer.
