Media notes
12 no Glossy Ibis were seen flying in the sky at about 7-30 a.m. on 05/05/18. As learnt from the villagers about 20-30 Glossy Ibis were seen on the same paddy field as seen in the previous photograph on 04/05/18. Again it was learnt from a villager that about 8-10 no Glossy Ibis were seen in this paddy continuously for about a week up to 03/05/18.
Observation details
There is a Grazing field in this area known as " Barpit Reserve". This field remains filled with water from June to September. It starts drying from October. By March it dries sufficiently and becomes a ground for grazing of village cattle. I have observed two three Black-Necked Storks in this Reserve continuously for two previous years. During the same time Glossy Ibis and Black-Headed Ibis were also seen in the area in large numbers.
