Observation details
Two Forster's Terns feeding at Lake Jerry Paul Combs. Trailing edge of primaries barely dark tinged, not dark like a Common Tern, and bill appears more orange than red. This bird was seen at less than 10 yards several times in a few minutes time. The closest it came was an estimated 10 feet. It caught a couple of minnows while I was observing and trying to take a picture. Out of all the pictures I took this was the best. My camera would not focus fast enough on a white bird against the blue sky.
