Observation details
Very elusive this morning. Found him after two hours of searching. He swam from the Eastern area of the lake to finally arrive at the main 'ramp' where ducks climb out of water. The Southern side, mainly staying in the reeds. He finally came out into the open, only to be chased by a Coot. He spent most of his time searching under water for food... and then grooming. This is a continuing bird at Lake Los Carneros.
