Media notes

NOTES: Male Red-winged blackbirds were heard to deliver this vocalization when the fields that they were nesting in were mowed. The birds would fly around as if looking for clues to the location of their nest and give this call type in seeming frustration. Very sad. Add announcement at 4954 - 5034. Filtered at 250 Hz. Other Behaviors: Emit Alarm. Habitat: Rural, Field.
