Media notes
The birds that were feeding when the Copper's arrived scattered, and the hawk was unable to make a kill.
Observation details
The juvenile Cooper's Hawk was the size of a crow, with a yellow eye, and a vertical pattern on the breast. It was hoping to hunt my bird feeding area, and perched on a fence near a cracked corn feeding grown tray. All the little birds left when it arrived.
