Media notes
White-fronted Geese long distance blown up to show characteristic white patch behind bill.
Observation details
Discovered by Doug Suitor in cove south of Abagadasset River bridge. The 3 birds were swimming together, with Canada geese nearby. Noted smaller size compared to nearby Canada geese, orangish bill with white band around base of bill, brownish head/neck/back. Not able to view legs/feet, as the birds were observed swimming only. Most likely these are the same three birds first observed by Bud Heuer on March 26 at Bay Bridge Landing Wetland Park, Brunswick, about 6 miles to the south.
