Observation details
Possible group was spotted by Carlos Bethancourt as they flew downriver 100+ m, so I walked down to investigate. I found the group on rocks bathing in the river with a pair of Great-tailed Gracles and a Giant Cowbird, which made for easy size comparisons. There were 7 males and 3 females together. Carlos and his client saw the Caribs as well. I could not take photos because my camera's battery was dead. The grackles were calling quietly from tall grasses along the river; I recorded them while I was standing in the river about 8 m from the birds. My recording is attached, which was edited from about 10 minutes of recording.
