Observation details
One of the birds coming to the camp host's feeder was smaller than the Anna's, with a shorter tail. It had an all white throat and white all around the eye. I have also noticed that the irridescence on Costa's females might be a bit bluer (or a lighter shade of green?), though I have never seeen that mentioned in a guide.
