Observation details
Correct me if I am wrong - at one point it flew past a Turkey Vulture, was easily less than 1/2 the size of the Vulture. Head shape was more Sharp-shinned than Cooper's (head was very round). Wrists were bent forwards, Cooper's Hawk flies flat. Tail barring was also very evident (reference photo 2) where Cooper's Hawk barring is less evident. In some photos, it appears to be flying flat but some of the angles weren't great. Species is not flagged as rare, I am simply writing up a description because I am not 100% positive on the ID.
