NOTES: Recorded along road through forested part of fazenda. Unseen bird was abut 15 m away and in low to mid levels just in from road. This was recorded after whistled imitation, which elicited agitated song (it was mostly calling and sang only a single partiual song before imitation). Song after whistled imitation, which resulted in more agitated song. In response to subsequent playback bird came in rapidly and crossed road once; it also gave an even more agitated song. Scattered high clouds but mostly clear, calm, low 70s. Identified from tape by Kevin J. Zimmer. Copied with HPF@200 Hz. Response to playback: Approach. Response to playback: Different song.
