Media notes
NOTES: Unseen bird was 15-18 meters away in mid-levels of terra firme forest approximately half way up the first hill from the Rio Teles Pires back towards Alta Floresta; mostly overcast, calm, mid 70s; though the same as LNS #52162 recorded by Parker in Mato Grosso (and identified as Snethlagea minor), recent work suggests that records of this species at Alta Floresta refer instead to Colopteryx galeatus; ID supported from tape by Kevin J. Zimmer, who indicated calls were probably from this species. Habitat: Rainforest, Evergreen Forest.
