NOTES: Unseen bird was 20 m away in low to mid-levels of moderately dense undergrowth of low-stature woodland 50-75 m from bank of Rio Paranapanema. Little or no response to playback of itself. Close to cut #JV 485/4 from the Pantanal. Mike attenuators on and using Benchmark MicMan Jr. preamp with Sennheiser ME-64 microphone in 24" Roche parabola. Copied with HPF@200 Hz. Response to playback: No response. Other Behaviors: Advertise. Habitat: Forest, Evergreen Forest, River, Riparian.
