Observation details
Medium-small gull with short black legs, small greenish yellow bill, white head with dark gray/black nape. I could not turn it into a mew gull. I read about the dead kittiwake from the morning, but this one was alive, cooperative, and able to fly a few feet to reposition itself. Seen just south of lifeguard station no. 49 at 12:20 pm. Multiple photos.
