Observation details
A pair of birds in the back part of the zoo, which is separate and open. This part is primarily accessible only by the zoo train and has multiple water features, less fencing and a more open plan. The water features at the time had three pairs of wild Canada Geese and one Great Egret on it. I asked two Zoo employees if the birds in this section of the park were kept and they both said that none of them are and there were no other suspicious species in the area. I also saw no evidence of pinioining on these birds. I'm convinced that they're "wild" and are not intentionally kept by the zoo.
