Back lit bill was stunning
Observation details
Continuing. Blue-green hummingbird. Bright red bill with dark tip. Small whitish supercilium visible in photos. Tail was wide, dark and notched. Heard distinctive staccato rattle-like vocalization. Bird seemed territorial - chasing away other hummingbirds that came to the feeders. Actively moved from three favored perches and feeders. Photos.
