Observation details
1520 m, all silver-grey back ( still undescribed form ). "Normal Pringle’s appear black and white, the black crown continues down the back to the white rump, in Ngong the crown is black but the entire back is silvery grey and the rump white. Normal Pringle’s has the flight-feathers narrowly edged with white, but the wings appear blackish with narrow white lines, Ngong has very broad white edges to the much greyer wings, and on a closed wing it appears predominately white with darker lines. The shoulders are black in normal birds and silvery grey in Ngong." (B. Finch).
