NOTES: Weather: WIND; THESE BIRDS WERE EATING REFUSE THROWN OUT FROM A CABIN SOME 12M AWAY.THEY WERE FLAPPING THEIR WINGS AND SOMETIMES CROWDING EACH OTHER. GENERALLY THEY WERE SILENT, BUT AT TIMES BECAME VOCIFEROUS WHEN WE TAPED THEM. A FEW TIMES WE STARTED THEM BY IMITATING THEIR CALL. THIS TAPE INCLUDES SOME OF THEIR CONVERSATIONAL TALK, BUT DOES NOT INCLUDE CAT-LIKECALLS LIKE THOSE RECORDED ON LNS 8523. 1.5HZ HIGH PASS FILTER. 3 ADULT(S); MALE; FEMALE. Habitat: Montane Grassland.
