In thick brush with open horizontal branches inside bush. Male pumps tail alternating blue and red coloring, while calling, gives sound which may in part or all be mechicanically made by wings as jumps straight up throwing wings out and then lands back on the same branch. Described on tape. Other Behaviors: Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Forest.
