Media notes

NOTES: CALL: 'PI-HUEY' OR 'PI-CUEY'. SONG (?): A FLICKER-LIKE CALL. BIRD SEEMED TO BE FORAGING THROUGH THE LEAVES OF THE TREE. FLICKER-LIKE CALLS BEFORE STARTED RECORDER. THEN RECORDED MOST OF A SERIES OF ITS MORE TYPICAL CALLS. BIRD THEN FLEW TO A MORE DISTANT TREE AND BEGAN FLICKER-LIKE CALLS. I THEN BEGAN A SERIES OF APPROACHES TO DIRECTLY BENEATH THE BIRD. THE VOCALIZATIONS WERE GENERALLY SPACED ABOUT 25-40 SECONDS APART. TWO ON ONE RECORDING SEEM CLOSER BECAUSE I STOPPED THE RECORDER BETWEEN Call type: tijos, joining calls nice and clear (per S. Vehrencamp).
