NOTES: (Behav. Context: Contentment. Gen. Climate: Arid. Cover Density: Sparse. Bias: Cr02. Filtering: Blimp & windscreen & high-frequency boost.) Counter 545-597. Area of recording was in a burn three years previous. Pine trees are spaced sporadically. Pines are tall, about 30 to 50 meters and alive at tops. Soft voices, murmurs, mumbling, whimpering, squeaking, buzzing, burring, and purring. Also birds scraping beaks on branches. Recorded from base of pine tree. Birds are perched 30 meters overhead (not 60 meters as stated at one point). Same subject(s) as LNS 82354. Other Behaviors: Establish Flock Contact. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest, Chaparral, Thicket/Brush, Scrub.
