Observation details
Continuing bird. Came all the way from Nevada County to see this bird. Lifer! I spotted the shrike perched in the branches of a small tree, scanning for prey and flicking it's tail. It was awesome, he was so close to the road, and he just sat there and let me take pics, before flying into the reeds.
