Media notes

Several (three or more) CAWR calling-singing in this recording. Lots of background noise from traffic along the nearby highway. Yes, I agree; birds tend to sing-call louder when there is surrounding noise! Recorded at 9 am. I could not find a reason for their loud calls (such as a hawk or an owl), so it may have been a territorial dispute.

Observation details

Several CAWR were singing VERY loudly near the split between the paved Neuse River Greenway leaing to the big bridge and the unpaved path leading to the actual Anderson Point.
