Observation details
Photographed. Sunny edge of woods on hill adjacent to heavily grazed cow pasture, also foraging in grassy meadow and almost to edge of mowed yard. Foraging close to or on ground, often near cow manure and sometimes remarkably close to farm dogs. Loosely associated with flock of bluebirds that also held 1 House Finch, 1 Pine Warbler, and 1 Yellow-rumped Warbler. Aggressively chased the several Eastern Phoebes in the area. Moved tail often while foraging. Appeared longer overall in size than Eastern Phoebe, with paler/less contrasting face. Showed dark uppertail and pale reddish belly.
