Observation details
When first seen, the gull was perched atop the trash transfer station in Anne Arundel County. A raptor later flew in and caused all the gulls that were sitting on the roof of the transfer station to fly into Howard County. The gull was all white except for some area around the eye. The bill was mostly black. Upon seeing my photos, Joe Hanfman told me that he thinks the gull was a first-winter bird. See the attached photos.
