Observation details
with a flock of a dozen American Pipits, Arrived about 2:00 PM and flew away with flock at about 2:30 PM. They landed on the east side of the park near the park sidewalk. Pipit with a heavily patterned back similar to a Savannah Sparrow. Saw with 1/2 dozen other birders. Called once just after takeoff, It did not call loud but it had the courtesy to fly close over my head and call. recorded and I will upload shortly, I think someone else will upload photo
