Observation details
Larger than nearby HERG and about size of GLGU present. Wings long, like HERG, and overall, rather HERG like in appearance, but bill bubble-gum pink, tipped with black, like GLGU and bill also rather long and straight-sided with a moderate gondyeal angle, as in HERG x GLGU I've seen in past (bill shape more like GLGU than HERG). Folder primaries were not the blackish-brown of HERG but colored more like those of a THGU with tips edged in whitish (like THGU and many Nelson's, not like HERG). Too big, wrong bill color for THGU + white eye. Sharply demarcated bicolored bill argues against HERG x GWGU (bill shape and markedly white eye also would be atypical for this cross)
