NOTES: General climate: DRY; Weather: WIND; SINK HOLE AREA IN SEMI-DESERT REGION. VARIOUS CALLS AND SONG. BIRDS FLYING RATHER LOW AFTER HAVING JUST COME OUT OF SINK HOLE. CONTINUATION OF LNS 08074. INTERESTING CALL AND RATTLE AT 0:42. GOOD AT 2:22. [There are several birds here, so it is difficult to differentiate some of the vocalizations. Most of this appears to represent the clear "weet" or "cheweet" chatter described in BNA. I was also able to differentiate songs at 0:43-0:48 (BEST example), 1:08-1:10, 2:14-2:16, 3:395-3:41, 3:48-3:50, and 3:54-3:56. What may be the "chu" notes are at 0:33, 0:34, 0:345, and 2:555-2:57, but the series at 2:21-2:23 does not match anything described in BNA. There are similar harsh calls at 2:445 and 3:14. Quality changed from 3-1 to 2, 1-2 (cricket during first half or so of recording and signal low throughout) - CAM - 26 January 2005]. Same subject(s) as LNS 8074.
