NOTES: General climate: DRY; SEMI-ARID WOODS. FLOCK OF PETROCHELIDON FULVA CALLING AS THEY FLY IN AND OUT OF A 'MAYAN WELL'. THEY ARE OBSCURED SOMEWHAT BY CONSTANT CROAKING OF FROGS AND CALLING OF VIREO OLIVACEUS IN TREES ABOVE THE 'WELL'. [Actually, the swallow calls are obscurred almost completely by the SONGS of Vireo flavoviridis and the calls of the frogs. Quality unchanged (3) - CAM - 26 January 2005] [I'm not sure that I ever hear this species in this recording. If so, it really is obscured! Quality unchanged (3) - CAM - 30 November 2004]. Habitat: Forest.
