NOTES: (Breeding status: ?not territorial; ?breeding; Species Sound: constant; General Climate arid; Cover Density medium) [Three songs, all of which have recognizable elements of mimicry (apparently a gargle of Poecile gambeli, followed by calls of Turdus migratorius, and, in the first song, terminated with calls of Catharus guttatus. There may also be imitations of bluebird (Sialia sp.) calls here. Quality added (2-3 - much overlap between songs of Carpodacus and those of Piranga ludoviciana; there is also quite a bit of wind noise) - CAM - 4 February 2005]. Other Behaviors: Advertise.
