Observation details
Yellow lores clearly observed on 3 swans in a group with 37 Trumpeter swans. I have uploaded an additional image because it looks as though there may be a 4th Swan with Yellow lores. Please review and let me know. If so I will change the count to 4 Tundra Swans. These 4 swans were "together" sometimes with Trumpeters near them and sometimes segregated. Additionally, the head shape of the two swans on the right is more rounded so it may end up being only 2 Tundra swans though yellow lores are so rare in Trumpeters as to be ignored according to Sibley's guide. Are there any instances of hybrid Tundra/Trumpeter swan?
