NOTES: NEAR CANAL IN DESERT. [This appears to represent primarily "Regularly Repeated Vocalizations" (RRV) but with both "Repeated Vocalizations"(RV) and "Incipient Locomotory Hestance Vocalizations" (ILHV) scattered throughout. The section between 9:19 and 10:30 is exclusively RVs and there is a GOOD clip of these at 8:21-8:28. There are also examples of "Incipient Locomotory Hesitance Vocalizations" scattered throughout but with series of these at 0:34-0:44 (BEST example), 5:27-5:30, and 7:38-7:40. Terminology follows BNA and W. J. Smith (1966. Communications and relationships in the genus Tyrannus.Publ. Nuttall Ornithol. Cl. 6). Quality changed from 2 to 1-2, 3-2 (or, more precisly, 1-2 (0:00-9:18), 3-2 (9:19-10:08), 2 (10:09-11:21)) - CAM - 7 January 2005]. Habitat: Desert.
