Observation details
Smaller than the near by Double-crested Cormorants with emerald green eyes and pale yellow gular (throat) pouch at base of grayish bill, pronounced white V of feathers outlines pouch. The bird was not observed in flight. First reported by Darren Dowell on Sun Dec 24, 2017 and relocated today by Ed Stonick on a small island near north end of North Lake.
