The birds were about 10-20m away.
Small calm creek. Muddy cutbank with numerous downed trees and branches. An adult and juvenile were foraging along the beach and another adult and juvenile joined them briefly but were mostly foraging out of range of the microphone and were quiet when they were in range. Most of the sound recording is of the juvenile who was hopping along behind the adult. A Bohemian waxwing was collecting small gravel in the cutbank near the rusty blackbirds quietly keeping an eye on them and me.
