NOTES: (Breeding Status: Territorial, breeding. Behav. Context: Males' high intensity interaction.) Two males about equally matched; encounter of 13-14 minutes. Reversing attacker and defender. Much tapping of/by aggressive individual in each sub-encounter. Tapping male advances - bill tapping- tail spreading - wing flicking - wing spreading. Tail spreading especially noticeable in the defensive individual each time.
