Observation details

Flying over at Crossing Rocks beach. Originally reported as a 'Royal Tern' but upon review of the photos it was determined that this was actually a Black-legged Kittiwake - as it lacked the black cap of a Royal Tern and has a dark collar. It is normally only seen well out at sea over the open water and very rarely in the Abacos. Report amended as such 22 December, 2017
