Observation details
**very rare; this is most likely the one found here by Paul Lehman yesterday, though 4 were seen in the vicinity earlier this morning; during this observation from the boat, we saw at least 1 adult Nazca Booby on a 5 mph warning buoy and also farther north on the water and in flight (seen twice at widely separated locations). Distinct large orange bill with pinched saddle in culmen, white/ gray on base of otherwise blackish tail feathers, especially central tail feathers which were overall a bit paler/ grayish than the other blackish tail feathers. Many photos.
