Although the flock also included a few Apus pacificus, I suspect most if not all of the calling birds were Apus affinis which greatly outnumbered the former species in the flock. Apus pacificus is a migrant in this area, whereas Apus affinis is a common breeder. ML: Subject changed from Apus affinis to A. nipalensis to reflect current taxonomy. Jay McGowan, 29Nov2017.
