Continuing. Originally reported by Suzy and Ken Feustel on Nov. 7. At the westbound side of Ocean Parkway, Babylon, near parking area for Cedar Beach. Small rail-type bird with rufous face/neck/breast/belly, darker rufous at flanks; legs similar to Common Gallinule, having a light fleshy coloring; back feathers black with light brown edging all around. Thin white eye-ring; beak a pale pinkish color. Bird came out of brush and walked thru dried grass/weeds looking for bugs. Watched as it ate a worm. Pics attached.
