NOTES: (Stimulus for Sound: Natural (no playback), then 1st seq. playback own song.) I recorded them "across the river." They on opp. side, [sic] Playback brought them over to me to utter the high (aggressive) frequency calls recorded as they were very close. Cut ends with a male singing warbled phrases within the song which are very complex!! and are mimic phrases. Note the "high" (aggressive call) call is aggressive and can be uttered by a single bird (which will shiver its wings). Two birds calling, one will on occasion lift the white rump feathers which "show up" (in exaggerated fashion). Bill snap and "attach" (supplant) the other bird. HPF 220.
